In this virtual game puck story, Carolina Hurricanes left winger Teuvo Teräväinen received our virtual game puck award for his performance against the San Jose Sharks. He had a hat trick in the game on Friday night.
He accounted for all the points in the contest. He had two goals in the first period.

Teräväinen scored at 6:10 in the first period. He also scored again at 15:10.

Then, in the third period, he scored his third tally against the Sharks. His third goal came at 6:06 in the period.
It is Teräväinen’s first hat trick this season. His last hat trick came on March 5th, 2023 against the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 3-0 win.
He has accounted for two hat tricks over the past two seasons.

Teräväinen has three career hat tricks. He also scored three goals and assisted on a goal in a 5-1 win over the Dallas Stars on November 13, 2017.
