Martin defeats underdog Odom in Beech Bend final round

Two-time Street Outlaws No Prep Kings champion Ryan Martin has continued his win streak. He has now won three straight races.

Martin defeated underdog John Odom in the final round on Saturday at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This was the first time that Odom has advanced to the final round this season.

Odom debuted his new GTR at Virginia Motorsports Park in North Dinwiddie, Virginia in April.

Martin defeated Kye Kelley in the prior two final rounds. Martin defeated Kelley at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.

Then, after a week off for the Memorial Day weekend, Martin then defeated Kelley in the final round at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.

With the win, Martin received 60 points towards his overall points stands. Plus, he received $40,000 for the win.

In the unofficial points standings, Martin leads the list of drivers with 280 points. He has 40 more points than Kelley, who has 240 points.

Martin and Kelly are the only two drivers, who have surpassed 200 points so far this season. Jerry Bird, who was the points leader going into Ohio, is third with 190 points.

Odom is now tied with Robin Roberts, who has one win this season, and Jeff Lutz with 110 points. Roberts won the postponed Maple Grove race over Bird that was completed at New England Dragway.
