Former NBA player Brandon Goodwin busted for super speeding

Brandon Goodwin was charged earlier this month with going over 100 mph in the middle of the day. he was doing this on one of the busiest roads in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Goodwin is a former NBA player. He allegedly told the authorities that he had just gotten the car the day before.

The 27-year-old was going 113 mph on Pleasant Hill Road. He was charged with super speeding and reckless conduct.

He was arrested and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail. He eventually bonded out.

“Please drive responsibly. If you’re not, you need to get off the road,” Duluth Police Corporal Ted Sadowski said.

The Norcross, Georgia native last played in an NBA game on April 10th, 2022, in a Cleveland Cavaliers win against the Milwaukee Bucks. He did not score in seven minutes.

He last scored in an NBA game on April 2nd in a win over the New York Knicks. Goodwin had two points in the game.

Goodwin appeared in 36 games during the 2021-22 season. He made 5 starts.

He averaged 4.8 points per game with the Cavaliers. Goodwin also averaged 1.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 0.7 steals per game.

Besides playing for the Cavaliers, he spent two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. He began his career with the Denver Nuggets.
