Minnesota Twins Senior Vice President and General Manager Thad Levine has left the organization. He had been with the team since the 2017 season.

At press time, it is not clear what Levine is going to do next. If he wants to get back involved in baseball, it is likely this off-season that he will land on his feet with another franchise.

The Twins made the Wild Card round in 2017 and 2020.

Several days ago, the Twins announced that manager Rocco Baldelli would return. In addition, the team announced that their Chief Baseball Officer Derek Falvey would return as well.

Before being hired by the Twins, he worked for the Texas Rangers from 2006 through 2016. He also worked for the Colorado Rockies from 1999 through 2005.

During Levine’s tenure, the Twins only surpassed 100 wins only once. That came during the 2019 season when they went 101-61.

Levine worked with two managers. In his first two years, he worked with Paul Molitor, who went 85-77 during the 2017 season.

Then, during the 2018 season, the Twins went 78-84 with Molitor.

As the Twins manager, Baldell is 457-413 since the 2019 season.
