Bedard Projected No. 1 Pick for the NHL Draft This Season

Connor Bedard has been a favorite prospect for the past two years. The 17-year-old from Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League could hear his name called early in the upcoming draft.

As a central player for the Pats, he managed to rack up 143 points and has been compared to star players like Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid. Scouts have noticed and remarked on his quick hands and top speed, and this has placed the young talent among the best draft-eligible players for this season.

It is not surprising then, that the Chicago Blackhawks have an eye on Connor Bedard, who might very well change the life of the team. Another top prospect for this season’s NHL Draft is Adam Fantilli from the University of Michigan, who is projected to be the No. 2 pick and has proven to be an excellent overall mature player.
