Gladiators sign WR Molden

The Las Vegas Gladiators have signed wide receiver Etu Molden. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

He spent the past three seasons with the Chicago Rush. When he was with the team, he was their all-time leading receiver.

Molden had 264 receptions for 3,132 yards in the three seasons. He also has 58 receiving touchdowns and 72 total touchdowns, also a team record.

With the Rush, he was the Offensive Player of the Game four-times. He was also the Offensive Player of the Week once.

Before joining Las Vegas, he also had 22 carries for 50 yards and 10 touchdowns. 

In his final game with Chicago, he had three receptions for 32 yards and two touchdowns against the Orlando Predators. He also had two carries for eight yards. 

Molden has also had 21 carries for 47 yards and 10 touchdowns

On defense, as a linebacker, he had 50 tackles with five interceptions for 28 yards. He also had two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

“Etu has done a phenomenal job leading his team in Chicago,” head coach Danton Barto said. “I know he will bring that same leadership and athleticism he has brought the past three seasons there to Las Vegas.”
