As we reported earlier this week, Tomlinson was dealing with a sprained right big toe. He was listed as day-to-day initially.

In the season’s first game, Tomlinson had 21 carries in a 26-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He had 97 rushing yards.

The talented back also had three receptions for 15 yards.

The team did not reveal if Tomlinson’s injury happened against the Panthers. Or if it was something that happened during practice leading up to the game with the Broncos.

During the 2007 season, Tomlinson was a workhorse, as he had 315 carries. He had 1,474 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
