The New England Patriots will be without tight end Aaron Hernandez for the second straight game. He will not play against the Oakland Raiders.

He also missed last week’s game against the Buffalo Bills. He is reportedly dealing with a knee injury.

At press time, it is not clear if Hernandez will miss additional time. The Patriots have not released much information on his injury.

His best game of the young season came in Week 1. That’s when he had seven receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins in a 38-24 win on the road on September 12th.

Rob Gronkowski was the only Patriots tight end targeted during their week 3 contest against the Bills. He had seven receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns.

This was Gronk’s best game of the season. He previously had 86 yards in each of his first two games of the season.

Watch out for Gronkowski to receive more targets against the Raiders. Brady could target his other receivers more in this contest.

Gronkowski and Hernandez have received the majority of the tight-end targets this season.
