Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to go for the World Cup. He has declared himself fit to play in Portugal’s World Cup game on Tuesday against Germany.

He is recovering from a left knee injury. This has recently bothered him, but he was able to play in Portugal’s 5-1 friendly win over Ireland at MetLife Stadium before the World Cup.

That was his first match back after missing two matches with left knee tendinitis. He said to reporters on Sunday that he would tell his coach if he’s unable to play.

Earlier this week, the FIFA Player of the Year was seen with ice bags on his knee. He also had a bandage on his knee during Portugal’s trace at Arena Fonte Nova in Brazil.

Ronaldo will have a few days to get ready. Portugal is not scheduled to play until Monday when they face Germany in the group stage of the World Cup.

Before the friendly against Ireland, Ronaldo’s final game came in the Champions League final when he played in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid.

Ronaldo will attempt to guide Portugal to a deep run in the World Cup.

This is the biggest stage in the world with the World Cup. It is unlikely that Ronaldo will miss time, as he will want to represent his country on this stage.

If he does play, he will have several days to heal before the next contest. The games are spread out over a period of time before the elimination stage begins.
