In 2014, Tommy DeLago guided Alexis DeJoria to her best season of her young career. Before kicking off the 2015 season, DeLago, the crew chief on DeJoria’s Tequila XO Cafe Funny Car, was married this weekend in Mexico.
Little is known about the private wedding. However, we do know that the wedding took place at the Dreams Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya, Mexico on January 9th.
DeLago’s wife is the former Rachel Brunner. The two got engaged February 14th, 2014.
Nicky Boninfante and Jim Oberhofer from Team Kalitta were Groomsman.
“What a beautiful way to start out the new year!,” DeJoria said before they were married. “We are so happy for you both!. xoxoxo See ya in Mexico.”
Don Schumacher’s Antron Brown was in attendance. While it looks like he presided over the ceremony, the team said that he’s not ordained.
“This is when I was getting ready for my boy Tommy’s wedding in Mexico,” Brown said in a post on Twitter. “He was ready. I was Lord give me strength! LOL. The wedding party @TeamKalitta @shoeracing the boys where (he meant were) looking good. #love #friends #goodtimes”
