The Boston Red Sox will have to play the rest of Saturday’s game without one of their best players. Center fielder Mookie Betts left in the fourth inning.

He was initially injured in the first inning, but continued to play for three more innings. Betts was involved in a home plate collision with the Baltimore Orioles catcher when he scored the first run.

He injured his left knee during the collision. If the Red Sox do not update his condition during the game, manager Alex Cora should have information for the media afterwards.
