Jerry Bird, who is a part of the Bird Brothers Racing team, is one of the top No Prep racers in the entire country. According to a social media post linking to his brother Daryl’s name, the team had a motor stolen.
The social media post suggests that they believe that the motor was stolen in New Orleans. Another post on “Bird Boyz” suggests the motor was stolen on Friday night.
Darryl Bird said that the motor was stolen from their shop.

According to a Street Outlaws racer, who has appeared on the show, a motor like in the picture ranges in price. He said that it could cost anywhere between $70,000-85,000, depending on what the team has done to it.
The same Street Outlaws racer said that most teams typically have just one motor. However, if they’re lucky, he said, they would have two. We do not know what the Bird Boyz situation is.
If this is their only motor, then they could not participate in any racing events until it is found. Bird has appeared on Street Outlaws New Orleans, along with Street Outlaws No Prep Kings.
During the first season of the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings, Bird crashed The Probe at Tucson Raceway in Arizona. It is believed that the Street Outlaws New Orleans show was turned into the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings.

He also finished second to Justin “Big Chief” Shearer at the Bristol Dragway special last August in the $100,000 winner-take-all final round. He reportedly received around $25,000 for his runner-up finish.
This special aired in January 2018 on The Discovery Channel. This is not the first-time that thieves that targeted racers, who have been on the hit TV show.

David “Bird” Jones had his 1967 Camaro, his 36′ flatbed trailer, along with his 2002 Ford F-250 was stolen in Texas in 2016.
