According to The Blade, Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey is attending the Michigan-Ohio State game. He is there to scouting future NFL prospects.
Dorsey is looking to change the culture of the Browns. Cleveland is going to have a lot of cap space to spend on free events.
Some of that money will be spent on college prospects, who will be drafted by the franchise.
The Browns are going to build around quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Dorsey will also have to work with a new head coach to evaluate prospects. Former head coach Hue Jackson was fired at the end of October.
Gregg Williams is the interim head coach. While he is expected to interview for the position, he is not expected to get the job.
Former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa is not playing in the game due to injury. He’s expected to be the top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
His former defensive line mate Dre’Mont Jones is also expected to be an NFL draft prospect. Wide receiver Parris Campbell, linebacker Tuf Borland, and offensive lineman Isaiah Prince are NFL prospects, as well.
Wolverines defensive tackle Rashan Gray is an NFL prospect. Defensive end Chase Winovich, linebacker Devin Bush, cornerback Lavert Hill and safety Khaleke Hudson are also considered NFL prospects.
