2019 Hotshots vs. Express Week 2 preview

The Memphis Express are hosting their first home game of the season. The Arizona Hotshots visit the Express in the second game on Saturday night. 

The game will start at 8 pm EST, 7 pm local time on the NFL Network. The game will be played at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Hotshots will attempt to win their second straight game. They defeated the Salt Lake Stallions in their season-opener, 38-22.

The Express will try to win their first game of the season. Memphis was shut out by the Birmingham Iron, 26-0, in their first game. 

Express quarterback Christian Hackenberg had the worst performance of the opening week. He went 10 of 23 for 87 yards with an interception. 

Zac Stacy had 12 carries for 58 yards. Terrence Magee had five carries for 18 yards. 

Alton “Pig” Howard had four receptions for 33 yards. Reece Horn had two receptions for 28 yards. 

Hotshots quarterback John Wolford went 18 of 29 for 275 yards. He also had four touchdowns.

Jhurell Pressley had 18 carries for 64 yards. Justin Stockton had seven carries for 46 yards. 

Rashad Ross had five receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Richard Mullaney had five receptions for 57 yards. Gerald Christian had three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. Pressley had a 30-yard touchdown reception.
