The Detroit Tigers announced a multi-year sponsorship with Coppercraft Distillery. As part of the partnership, there will be branding at Comerica Park in their right field bar.

Coppercraft Distillery was started in 2012 in Holland, Michigan. When it was launched, it was one of the first licensed distillers in the state.

Through an expansion, the company is planning expansion in metropolitan Detroit. The company also hired its first full-time sales representative to oversee the area.

Their products can presently be found at more than 260 retail locations in the Detroit market.

“This agreement advances our long-term growth strategy, which includes expanding awareness of the Coppercraft brand throughout the Detroit metropolitan area and the State of Michigan,” Brandon Joldersma, Director of Sales for Coppercraft Distillery, said. “Fans can now enjoy watching Tigers games from a unique vantage point at the Coppercraft Distillery Bar in right field, and at a dedicated Bourbon Bar on the main concourse.”

Coppercraft Distillery has won several awards since its inception. The company also received the highest score out of 200 at the USA Spirits Ratings competition.

It was also selected as the Michigan Bourbon Distillery of the Year in 2018 at the New York International Spirits Competition.

Besides the distillery, Coppercraft also has a full-service restaurant and bar. They also have a tasting room in Saugatuck, Michigan.
