A bystander was killed on Sunday in the parking lot of Dragway 42 in West Salem, Ohio. At least four others were injured, police said.
People were attending the Import Faceoff and car show. According to the authorities, the event was over and fans were existing when the shooting took place.

There was an altercation in the parking lot that led to the shooting. The alleged suspect was driving recklessly, police said.

The alleged suspect is still at large at this time. A second person, who also shot in what police are describing as self-defense, remained at the scene and was questioned by the authorities.
It is believed that at least 20 shots were fired. Police said the alleged suspect, who was driving a pickup, was doing burnouts and picked up gravel before the shooting.

“There was a confrontation about that, resulting in the man getting out of his vehicle armed with a handgun and multiple rounds were fired by that man and another person here at the race track fired back at him supposedly in self-defense,” said Captain Douglas Hunter of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
