The Notre Dame Fighting Irish defeated the Florida State Seminoles on Sunday night. The Fighting Irish won 41-38 over the Seminoles at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida.
With the win, the Fighting Irish improved to 1-0. The Seminoles fell to 0-1 with the loss.

Fighting Irish quarterback Jack Coan went 26 of 35 for 366 yards. He had four touchdown passes and one interception.
Kyren Williams had 18 carries for 42 yards. Michael Mayer had nine receptions for 120 yards and one touchdown.
Seminoles quarterback Jordan Travis went 9 of 19 for 130 yards. He had two touchdown passes and three interceptions.
Jashaun Corbin had 15 carries for 144 yards and one touchdown. Keyshawn Helton had four receptions for 53 yards.
Jonathan Doerer scored on a 41-yard field goal to give the Fighting Irish the win in overtime.
The Seminoles outscored the Fighting Irish 24-21 in the second half. Travis hit Ja’khi Douglas for a 60-yard touchdown reception.
Travis also hit Andrew Parchment for an eight-yard touchdown reception. Ward scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown.
Ryan Fitzgerald also scored on a 43-yard field goal.
Coan hit Kevin Austin for a 37-yard touchdown reception. Coan also connected with Williams for a six-yard touchdown reception.
Chris Tyree scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.
The Fighting Irish led 17-14 at halftime. Coan hit Mayer for a 41-yard touchdown reception.
Coan also hit Joe Wilkins for a 23-yard touchdown reception. Doerer scored on a 48-yard field goal.
FSU’s Corbin scored on an 89-yard rushing touchdown. Travis scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown.
