Demus Jr. will have tests to determine how long he’ll miss.

He was injured on a kickoff return when he got hit low by a Hawkeye player. Then multiple players assisted on the tackle.

He fumbled on the play.

The playmaker, who was in his senior season, was in tremendous pain following his injury. Replay showed that his leg got twisted.

Demus Jr. could be seen telling his teammates before leaving the field that “I’m coming back.”

Before his injury, he had four receptions in the contest. He had 61 yards.

He came into the contest with 24 receptions for 446 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
