Lizzy Musi has won back-to-back Street Outlaws No Prep Kings events. Musi won on Saturday night at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison; Colorado.
She defeated Jeff Lutz in the final round on the mountain outside of Denver. Lutz gave Musi enough time to fix an injured motor before the final round.
Musi defeated Ryan Martin — who has the most wins this season on the show — in the semi-finals. Lutz defeated Justin Swanstrom in the second semi-finals
Swanstrom was caught up in some controversy with Musi and Team Texas on social media leading up to the race. Musi and Swanstrom allegedly tested within 200 miles of their home.
Legendary tuner and engine builder Pat Musi’s daughter also won the event last weekend. She defeated her fiancée Kye Kelley in the final round at Tucson Dragway in Tucson, Arizona.
She is the first woman to ever win in the Big Tire Invitational category. This is her fourth win overall, as she had three straight wins during the 2019 Street Outlaws No Prep Kings season.
Musi drove “Bonnie” to wins at both events. “Bonnie” returned to the track in Tucson after crashing at Darlington Dragway in late July.
The car went through extensive repairs to be able to race again this season.
The debut episode of the new season will begin on October 11th. This race will be towards the end of the season on TV.
