Minnesota Timberwolves guard D’Angelo Russell was injured on Monday night. He was injured late in the first half against the Orlando Magic at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Russell will not play in the second half. He sprained his right ankle.

This injury may cause Russell to miss several games. It could be worse depending on the tests that will determine the severity of the injury.
The Timberwolves should have an update on his condition after the game.
Jordan McLaughlin started the second half in Russell’s place. If Russell cannot go in the upcoming games, McLaughlin will likely start in his place.
The Timberwolves are already without point guard Patrick Beverly with an injury.
Russell played 16 minutes in the game before the injury. He had just three points against the Magic.
He has already missed a game this season. He missed the team’s game on October 14th against the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.
