Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Georgia had an incident on Saturday night. There are very few details.

There are a lot of posts that are asking for prayers. Other posts say that a car crashed into spectators.

While we do not know much information at this time, we do know that something did happen at the track. A Facebook post confirmed that an incident happened.

“Thanks for all the prayers and texts from everyone that was part of or witnessed this accident,” the Facebook statement says. “Prayers from our family to yours.”

Their Facebook page was promoting “The Battlefield” for tonight. There was free admission as teams in any car or division competed during the open practice.

An invitation on Facebook said that Super Late Models, Crate Late Models, Bombers, Pure Stock, Crown Vics, and Modifieds were welcome. We do not know what type of vehicle was involved in the incident.

“Prayers for everyone involved in the accident at Cochran Motor Speedway,” East Lincoln Motor Speedway said in a Facebook post. “Send prayers up for everyone involved.”

According to a Facebook post by Joni Burgamy Martin, who lists her job as ‘Accounting at Cochran Motor Speedway’ shared that there were no life-threatening injuries.

“Doctor just came in and said everyone involved was OK,” she wrote. “That’s all he could tell me. They carried Parker to get 2nd scan on his leg. Negative on spinal injury, which is awesome news. He can’t have anything to drink in case they have to do surgery. Chris is finally otw (on the way) here. He’s getting checked out once he gets here. If anyone knows anything about the others, please let me know.

“My prayers go out to everyone that’s involved. Thanks to everyone that’s called, texted, and prayed. Special thanks to Michael Davis for grabbing Chris and Parker.”
