Raiders acquire Davante Adams in blockbuster deal

The Las Vegas Raiders have acquired wide receiver Davante Adams in a blockbuster deal. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers received two prime 2022 draft picks.

One of the picks involved in the trade is the Raiders 2022 first-round draft pick.

Adams has agreed to a five-year deal with the Raiders. He received a five-year, $141.25 million deal.

Adams was franchise-tagged by the Packers. However, he recently told the team that he would not play under the tag and wanted a long-term deal.

Adams will be the top target for quarterback Derek Carr. The team also has Hunter Renfrow and tight end Darren Waller has premiere players, too.

He is the latest addition to the AFC West this off-season. The Raiders also added defensive end Chandler Jones.

The Denver Broncos acquired Russell Wilson in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos also added defensive end Randy Gregory.

The Los Angeles Chargers acquired Khalil Mack in a trade with the Chicago Bears.

The 29-year-old has spent his entire career with the Packers before this trade. He was their second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

He spent the last eight seasons with the Packers. He appeared in 116 games, including 109 starts.

He has had 669 receptions for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns.
