The drag strip is located in Harrisburg, Illinois. It is a 1/8th-mile drag strip.

Their website does not have their schedule listed for the 2022 season. However, the Facebook post said that the track will be opening soon.

At this time, we do not know when the track is going to open its doors once again.

Sloan and Farnsworth will have to hire a staff before the drag strip will be able to open. Depending on the hiring process, the drag strip could potentially be back in operation within a month or two with the right people being hired.

We previously reported that this particular track closed abruptly before their 2019 season. No reason was given as to why the track shut down.

This facility was initially opened in 1963. It operated from 1963 through 1985. After being closed for some time, Frank Sisk re-opened it in 2007.

Farnsworth previously worked at the track. He was the track manager when the facility abruptly closed.
