Street Outlaws No Prep Kings racer James Strang will sit out the rest of the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings filming. He will not participate in the Beech Bend Raceway Invitational on Saturday.

Strang suffered catastrophic damage that has caused him to miss the rest of the event.

“Well guys that’s a wrap for us this weekend,” he said in a Facebook post. “We have ordered rods over a month ago with no luck yet. We knew every pass was a gamble but we pushed onward knowing what could happen. With the situation getting parts it’s hard to say how long we will be out. We would of serviced these things 15 passes ago if we had parts. Everyone enjoy your weekend here in Kentucky we will be rooting for our team California and see if we can’t pull ourself a win here this weekend.”

Due to the parts problem in America, Strang may be forced to miss the rest of filming this month. After Kentucky, the teams travel to Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota.

The tour ends the month at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas. The No Prep Kings will be off the entire month of July before returning in August.
