Sprint Car driver Carly Holmes is still in the hospital on Wednesday. She was injured in a racing accident on Monday at Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Holmes had more X-rays done, according to her brother Tanner. She is at RiverBend hospital in Eugene, Oregon.

The family is waiting on the results of the X-rays.
“Personally, I knew Carly was gonna be all good when I talked to her on the phone last night,” he said in the Wednesday update. “The first words that came out of her mouth were “I should’ve won that thing”. That right there told me she was already feeling back to normal Carly.
“Although she is feeling disappointed, we are just so thankful that the good Lord was looking over her on Monday. Also to mention, her seat and safety equipment did their job to keep her in the best condition they could.”
The family is hopeful that she will be coming home in the coming days.
“Once again, we appreciate the love and support,” he said. “Our fingers are crossed she will be able to come home tomorrow.”
Depending on her injuries, it may be some time before she will be able to get back into a Sprint Car again.
