The Arizona Cardinals snapped an eight game home winless streak on Thursday. They defeated the New Orleans Saints 42-34 on Thursday Night Football at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The Cardinals won at home for the first time in nearly a year. Their last home game before Thursday came on October 24th, 2021, in a 31-5 win against the Houston Texans.

There was action in this past. In the past two games featuring the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos and the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears on Thursday night, they were lackluster.

Combined, they had 40 points. No team scored more than 12 points in either game.

Arizona improved to 3-4 with the win. The team is still in the mix in the NFC West as all four teams have three wins each.

New Orleans fell to 2-5 with the loss under first-year head coach Dennis Allen. The team has lost two straight games.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray went 20 of 29 for 204 yards. He threw one touchdown pass.

Eno Benjamin had 12 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins, who was making his season debut after being suspended, had 10 receptions for 103 yards.

Saints quarterback Andy Dalton went 30 of 47 for 361 yards. He had four touchdown passes and three interceptions.

Alvin Kamara had 11 carries for 49 yards. Rookie Chris Olave had seven receptions for 106 yards.

Benjamin scored on a five yard rushing touchdown. Murray also connected with Greg Dortch for a five yard touchdown reception.

Keaontay Ingram scored on a two yard rushing touchdown. Following this touchdown, the Cardinals converted a two point conversion.

The Arizona defense came up big with back to back pick sixes. Marco Wilson picked off Dalton and returned it for a 38 yard touchdown.

Then, on the very next drive, Dalton was intercepted by Isaiah Simmons. He then returned the interception for a 56-yard pick six.

Rodrigo Blankenship, who signed with the team on October 18th, made two field goals.

Dalton threw four touchdown passes. He connected with Rashid Shaheed for a 53 yard touchdown pass.

He then connected with Taysom Hill for a 3-yard touchdown reception.

Dalton hit Juwan Johnson for his next two touchdowns. Johnson caught a 17-yard touchdown pass.

The duo followed that up with a one yard touchdown reception.

Wil Lutz made two field goals.
