He passed away on Monday. TMZ Sports reported that Shaw, his girlfriend, and two friends met up to go on the snorkeling adventure.

The Queensland Police is investigating the incident. However, they have said the death was non-suspicious.

Shaw was 4-0 in his professional career. He was a fighter in the featherweight division, who turned pro in 2019.

While he was 4-0, Shaw has not competed in the ring since November 2019. In his last professional bout, he defeated Nabil Ahmed on November 23rd, 2019 by points.

He also defeated Rocky Leach, Jake Pollard, and Edward Bjorklund. These four wins came from July to November.

Shaw won all four of his bouts by points.

“Cam excelled at everything he did and we didn’t realize just how popular he was until now,” his father Rod said to the York Press. “We have been blown away.”
