Arkansas Razorbacks Junior starting quarterback K.J. Jefferson will not play today against the LSU Tigers. Jefferson dressed during warm-ups.
Jefferson was dealing with a sore shoulder, according to head coach Sam Pittman. He said this after the Razorbacks’ loss over the Liberty Flames.

He was replaced by Malik Hornsby. The sophomore quarterback last played against the Auburn Tigers on October 29th.
In the contest against the Tigers, he went 1 of 1 for 10 yards. He also had one rush for zero yards.
It is not clear if Jefferson will miss just this game. Or additional time over the final two games of the season.
Hornsby will have a lot of pressure on him today. The LSU Tigers are coming off their biggest win of the season.
Last Saturday, they defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in overtime. Head coach Brian Kelly went for a two-point conversion to give the Tigers the win.
Hornsby has gone 9 of 18 for 244 yards. He has one touchdown pass and two interceptions.
He also has 13 carries for 135 yards.
Jefferson has started much of the season. He has gone 148 of 222 for 1,981 yards. Jefferson threw 17 touchdown passes and three interceptions.
He also has 117 carries for 425 yards. Jefferson scored six rushing touchdowns.
