Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is not going to be pleased with his players’ actions. Following the win over the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Wolverines stoked the Buckeyes’ fire even more.

Several players were running around the field. The cheerleaders were still on the field. Then, they ran to midfield to Ohio State’s O.

A player spiked the Michigan flag into midfield. They did this as many Buckeye fans were still in the stands.

According to the video, it was a player with the No. 0 who spiked the Michigan flag into the Ohio State midfield O. It was either wide receiver Darrius Clemons or converted wide receiver to cornerback Mike Sainristil.

The Wolverines have two straight games in the series. This was Michigan’s first win at Ohio Stadium since 2000.

This was the second time in two days that a player spiked a flag in the opponents’ midfield logo. On Friday, members of the North Carolina State football ran to the North Carolina midfield and spiked their NC State flag in the Tar Heel midfield logo.

Will there be ramifications for these actions? That’s yet to be determined. Both Ohio State and North Carolina will have to wait one calendar year to try to get their revenge on the football field in the next installment of rivalry week.
