Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was escorted off of a plane on Sunday. The reason is unknown at this time.

According to a tweet, Beckham Jr. was on an American Airlines flight when it was boarding before being pulled off.

“Dear @AmericanAir why did #OdellBeckhamJr get police escorted off our flight?,” Chris Daly said in a tweet. “Why did we all have to get off because of it? We never left yet? @TMZ is gonna have info on this.”

It is not clear where Beckham Jr. was going. The talented wide receiver did comment on his Twitter account.

“Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me… I’ve seen it alll,” Beckham Jr. said with a 10:07 am tweet. “Never in my life. I could never make this up.”

According to the Miami Police, Beckham Jr. was not detained or cited for the incident. The police were called for a “medical emergency” and removed Beckham Jr.

He has not played in the NFL this season. Beckham Jr. suffered a torn ACL in the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

He had surgery in February. His first scheduled visit is expected to be on December 5th with the New York Giants.

He previously played for the Giants before being traded to the Cleveland Browns. After being released last season, he signed with the Rams.
