Satterfield will move 100 miles up the road from his former employer. He led the Louisville Cardinals the last four seasons.

This is pretty interesting. Satterfield’s current employer and former employer will be playing in a Bowl game against each other in a few weeks.

On Saturday, December 17th, the Louisville Cardinals and the Bearcats in the first-ever Wasabi Fenway Bowl at 11 am EST on ESPN from Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.

Satterfield will be in attendance at the game.

He was 25-24 at Louisville. This past season, he guided the Cardinals to a 7-5 record.

An interim head coach will be named for the team’s upcoming Bowl game.

Satterfield will be taking over a team that went 9-3 this past season. The Bearcats finished third in the American Athletic Conference.

As a head coach, Satterfield has gone 76-48, including a stop as the Appalachian State Mountaineers. He was 51-24 with the Mountaineers.

In his last four seasons with App State, he went 40-11, including three Bowl game wins.
