The New York Giants defeated the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants defeated the Vikings 31-24 in the NFL Wild Card Round Game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The loss snapped the Vikings’ four-game win streak over the Giants. New York won for the first time since a 23-7 win on October 21st, 2013 in the series.
The Giants were able to get some revenge for their loss on Christmas Eve. The Vikings won 27-24 over the Giants.

Despite the loss, the Vikings led the all-time series 18-13.
With the win, the Giants improved to 10-7-1. They won their first playoff game since the 2011 season.
New York will face their fellow NFC East opponent, the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night. The game will be played at approximately 8:15 pm EST.
With the loss, the Vikings fell to 13-5. Their season is now finished.
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones went 24 of 35 for 301 yards. He had two touchdown passes.
Jones also led the team with 17 carries for 78 yards. Isaiah Hodgins had eight receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins went 31 of 39 for 273 yards. He had two touchdown passes.
Dalvin Cook had 15 carries for 60 yards. T.J. Hockenson had 10 receptions for 129 yards.
The Giants outscored the Vikings 14-10 in the second half. Saquon Barkley scored a two-yard rushing touchdown.

Jones also hit Daniel Bellinger for a nine-yard touchdown reception.
Vikings’ Cousins hit K.J. Osborn for a nine-yard touchdown reception. Cousins also hit Irv Smith Jr. for a three-yard touchdown reception.
New York also led 17-14 at halftime. Barkley scored on a 28-yard rushing touchdown. Jones hit Hodgins for a 14-yard touchdown reception.
Graham Gano also made a 25-yard field goal.
Vikings’ Cousins scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. He also hit Osborn for a nine-yard touchdown reception.
