Bengals defeat the Ravens in the 2023 NFL playoffs

The Bengals defeated the Ravens 24-17 in the NFL Wild Card Round Game on Sunday night at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. With the win, the Bengals advance in the playoffs to the Divisional Round. Cincinnati will play the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. These two teams were scheduled to play on Monday night several weeks ago in Cincinnati, Ohio. However, the game was postponed initially and eventually canceled due to Damar Hamlin’s horrific injury on the field. The Bengals improved to 13-4 with the win. The Ravens fell to 10-8 with the loss; ending their season. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went 23 of 32 for 209 yards. He had one touchdown pass. Joe Mixon had 11 carries for 39 yards. Ja’Marr Chase had nine receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley went 17 of 29 for 226 yards. He had two touchdown passes and one interception. J.K. Dobbins had 13 carries for 62 yards. Mark Andrews had five receptions for 73 yards. The Bengals outscored the Ravens 15-7 in the second half. Burrow scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. Following his touchdown, the two-point conversion was successful. Sam Hubbard returned a fumble return for a 98-yard touchdown. Baltimore’s Huntley hit Demarcus Robinson for a 41-yard touchdown reception. The Ravens led 10-9 at halftime. The Bengals led 9-0 before the Ravens mounted their comeback. Huntley hit Dobbins for a two-yard touchdown reception. Justin Tucker also made a 22-yard field goal. Burrow hit Chase for a seven-yard touchdown reception. Evan McPherson also made a 39-yard field goal.
