Legendary heavyweight fighter Frank Mir will be apart of the upcoming PFL Challenger Series. This is similar to the Dana White’s Contender Series.
Mir will be at the Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on Friday night. This is the third PFL Challenger Series event.
There will be five additional events. It is not clear at this time if Mir will be involved in additional events.
“I’ll be a guest Celebrity Judge on the PFL Challenger Series this Friday night, February 10th,” Mir said in a Facebook post. “Tune in on Fubo Sports Network at 9pm and help me decide which fighter deserves the opportunity of a lifetime, a PFL contract. #PFLonFubo PFL MMA Live fuboTV.”
We do not know what bout that Mir will be serving as a guest celebrity judge. According to their website, there are four fights being highlighted for this heavyweight event.
Abraham Bably will face Hassan Graham. Louie Sutherland will face Alton Meeks.
The other two bouts will include Danilo Marques and Ras Hylton. Also highlighted is Vitor Resende and Isaiah Pinson.
The 43-year-old, who most recently competed for Bellator MMA, is 19-13 in his career. He defeated Roy Nelson in his final bout with Bellator as he won by unanimous decision on October 25th, 2019, at Bellator 231.
He fought for the UFC from 2001 through 2016.
