San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is engaged. He proposed to his girlfriend Olivia Culpo, who had been dating for nearly four years, according to Page Six.

The happy couple announced that they were engaged on Friday. According to the Instagram post, the couple were engaged on April 2nd.

The proposal appears to happen during a road trip. However, at this time, it is not clear where exactly that may have been.

At this time, no wedding date announcement has been made. However, as McCaffrey plays from September through January, an off-season wedding would have to take place.

Depending on when the couple wants to get married, they could get married before McCaffrey prepares for the new season in July with training camp. Or they could wait until next February.

Or if they would want to wait longer, then it would depend on how soon they would want to get married. Or wait it out, as some couples get married several years after getting engaged.

Culpo is a former Miss USA pageant competitor. She is also a Sports Illustrated model.

The 26-year-old McCaffrey was the 8th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. He played for the Panthers from 2017 through the 2022 season.
