Elsa Hosk is a former Victoria’s Secret Angel. The model grew up in Stockholm, Sweden.
While she was still in Sweden, she played professional basketball. She began playing the sport at seven years old.
Eventually, she became a professional basketball player in her homeland.

“I’ve always had this drive, that if I do something, I want to do it all the way,” Hosk said, according to Sports Illustrated. “I want to make sure I’m the best at it. I made my dad put up a basket on my street, and I would just practice all day. I played in school, and eventually, I got really good since I was practicing way more than my teammates. I just started advancing, going up in one class higher. Then I started training with the Stockholm team—they’re called the Zero-Eights—and eventually I started playing.”
She had seven practices a week. But due to her hectic schedule, she eventually gave it up to pursue a modeling career.
“I had to choose basketball or modeling because I was doing both on top of school, and it was hard coming back from jobs and having my teammates already practicing new [skills]. I couldn’t keep up,” Hosk told Ocean Drive in 2013. “If I’m not the best at something, I don’t want to do it at all. I was the team captain and kept missing games, which was unacceptable, so I chose modeling. But I do miss basketball.”
Since becoming a model, Hosk has appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show from 2011 through 2018. She also appeared in the 2017 film “And the Winner Isn’t.”
Hosk also appeared in “Burning Bright” in 2019. Then this year, she appeared as a guest judge for Season 18 of Germany’s Next Topmodel.

She also appeared in a music video “2U” with Justin Bieber in 2017.
The blonde-hair bombshell is a model for IMG Models. She also works for View Management in Barcelona, Spain, and MIKAS in Stockholm, Sweden, and in Los Angeles, California.
