This was the second straight week that these two teams have faced each other on Collision. Last week during the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator match, the Bullet Club Gold got the win over FTR from the Brandt Center in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

In the five shows, these two teams have been featured four matches on Collision in variations. In the second Collision, it was the Bullet Club Gold and The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) over CM Punk, Ricky Starks, and FTR.

In the first Collision, it was FTR and CM Punk, who defeated the Bullet Club Gold and Samoa Joe.

Then, in the Owen Hart Foundation 2023 Women’s Tournament Final Match, Willow Nightingale defeated Ruby Soho. This was Nightingale’s first solo win over her former tag team partner.

The series is now tied at 1-1 in singles competitors. Soho defeated Nightingale at AEW Dynamite #182 at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri on March 29th.

Following that match, The Kings of The Black Thorne (Brody King and Malakai Black) defeated Artemis Spencer and Randy Myers.

This was the first time that King had been in a match with Artemis Spencer since April 2018 at the ECCW Hail to the King event. Spencer picked up the win at the Russian Community Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Owen Hart Foundation 2023 Men’s Tournament Final Match saw Ricky Starks defeat CM Punk. This was Starks first solo match with CM Punk.
