Sprint Car team Kreitz Racing has made a personnel decision. The team has split up with driver Lance Dewease.
At this time, it is not clear what led to this decision.

“It’s a sad day for Kreitz Racing,” the team said in a Facebook post. “Unfortunately we have split up with Lance Dewease. Lance and his wife Renee both went above and beyond anything, we ever asked them to do. They brought sponsorships, provided their own time, and developed numerous ideas to help grow the team. We will be looking for a driver/drivers to finish out our season.”
Dewease said in a Facebook post that, “he’s not done yet.” What may happen in his future, we don’t know at this time.
His dismissal comes during the season. He had filled in for Anthony Macri in the Macri Motorsports Sprint Car at Eldora.
However, Macri Motorsports has announced they have a fill-in driver through the Jackson Nationals. Justin Sanders has been hired to drive the car through nearly the end of August.
Dewease had made a post on social media that he was racing back-to-back nights at Williams Grove Speedway. He competed in the 69K with Kreitz Racing on Friday and Saturday nights during the Summer Nationals.
