Due to renovations to Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium, the game was moved. The renovations are scheduled to be completed by next year’s event.

According to the report, the Myrtle Beach Bowl will now be played on December 16th. The relocated Bahamas Bowl will move to December 18th.

Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium has hosted the Bahamas Bowl since 2014. The game will not be held in the Bahamas for the first time since 2020.

The game features Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference. Last year, the game featured the UAB Blazers and the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks.

This will be the second bowl game in the Charlotte, North Carolina area this year. The Duke’s Mayo Bowl (which has had a variety of different names) has been played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte since 2002.

UAB, Toledo, and Middle Tennessee State have the most appearances in the game with two. However, UAB and Middle Tennessee State have a 1-1 record.
