Bills acquire Packers’ Rasul Douglas

The Buffalo Bills have struggled this season. And this, the Bills went out and got some help on the defensive side of the ball.

The Bills made a trade with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday before the NFL’s trade deadline. They acquired defensive back Rasul Douglas.

In addition to Douglas, the Bills also received a 2024 fifth round draft pick from the Packers. In exchange, the Packers received a 2024 third round draft pick.

The East Orange, New Jersey revived his career with the Packers. Now, he is going on his fourth team in the NFL.

He was a third round draft pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2017 NFL Draft. He also played for the Carolina Panthers.

In his last game with the Packers, Douglas had five tackles in the 24-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

This season, Douglas has appeared in seven games. He made seven starts.

He had 32 tackles and two tackles for a loss. He also had one interception and one fumble recovery.

In his career, Douglas has appeared in 96 games. He has made 57 starts with the aforementioned teams.

He has had 354 tackles with 17 tackles for a loss and two quarterback hits. He had 1.0 sacks, which came during the 2022 season.

He has 15 interceptions. This includes two returned for touchdowns.

Douglas also has two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He also has 66 pass deflections.
