UFC signs Jhonata Diniz

According to the UFC Roster Watch on X, the UFC has signed Jhonata Diniz. He comes to the promotion with a 6-0 record.

On September 12th, 2023, he competed in the Dana White Contender Series. He defeated Eduardo Neves in the first round with a jab and right cross.

Before competing on the Contender Series, he fought for Imortal FC. That’s when he defeated Rodrigo Duarte in the first round on March 19th.

Duarte was a substitute for Miguel Gentilini, who was originally scheduled to be his opponent on the card.

Dinitz also has first-round wins in his other bots. He defeated Carlos Nascimento in the first round of their Spartacus MMA bout in January 2023.

He also defeated Guilherme Lazzarini with a left hook in the first round of Imortal FC 11. Diniz won in the first round with a first-round knockout over Robertson Andrade at Metanoia FC.

His first MMA win came over Jose Rodrigo Guelke at Spartacus MMA 5 in 2022.

Outside of competing in MMA competitions, he has also competed in kickboxing. His last kickboxing event came with a win over Asdren Gashi with a flying knee and punch at SuperKombat Universe on November 1st, 2021.
