At press time, we do not have any new information on his condition. Jeffrey Dooley said in a Facebook post that Sussex experienced a ruptured fuel line.

Dooley also said in his post that Sussex walked to the ambulance on his own power.

Tyler Sturgeon Racing promoted the appearance in a Facebook post.

“🧀🏁 TSR has been keeping a secret with this (year’s) USAC Racing Indiana Sprint Week car design,” TSR said in a Facebook post. “We’re ready to chase some cheese with Stevie Sussex in the 77s Speedy Gonzales themed Drc Chassis Inc.
