Colt Lyerla was a college football player. He played for the Oregon Ducks from 2011 through 2013.
He was a tight end for the Ducks. He earned a starting role during the 2012 season. During this season, he also saw time playing running back.
In 2013, Lyerla was suspended for a game against the Colorado Buffaloes. He then quit the team on October 6, 2013. He left the team for personal reasons.
He had 34 receptions for 565 yards and 11 touchdowns in 27 games. He also had 16 carries for 94 yards and two additional touchdowns.
His best season with the Ducks came in 2012 when he had 25 receptions for 392 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 13 carries for 77 yards and an additional touchdown.
Lyerla had his best game of his collegiate career was when he had three receptions for 71 yards against the Washington Huskies on October 6, 2012. He also had two touchdowns in the game.
