Ken Singleton is a Funny Car driver. He is a three-time Funny Car Chaos Champion.
In March 2022, his life changed forever. Singleton had an explosion in his High Risk Racing Funny Car in the season-opening Funny Car Chaos event at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas.

He suffered burns to 26% of his body. In April, he had surgery to remove his fingers.
The doctors removed all eight of his fingers except for his thumbs. The procedure was expected to be one step closer to allowing him to leave Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
His racing career is likely over following the operation.
