Lauren Bernett

Lauren Bernett was a James Madison Dukes softball player. She was a catcher for the team.

During her sophomore season, the McDonald, Pennsylvania native had passed away. No cause was revealed as to why she had passed away.

Her last game with the Dukes came on April 24th, 2022. She went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs against the Drexel Dragons.

Two days later, the Virginia-based school announced that she had passed away.

With the Dukes, she made 85 appearances, including 79 starts. She had a .293 batting average with 12 home runs and 43 RBIs in 188 at-bats.
