The Philadelphia Union is a professional soccer club based in Chester, Pennsylvania, competes in Major League Soccer (MLS). The club was founded in 2008 and began playing in the league in 2010 as an expansion team.
The Union plays their home matches at Subaru Park, a soccer-specific stadium located on the banks of the Delaware River. The team’s colors are navy blue and gold, reflecting the Philadelphia flag’s colors.

Over the years, the Union has established itself as a competitive team in MLS. They reached the playoffs for the first time in 2011 and have since qualified for the postseason in several other seasons.
In 2020, the Union won their first major trophy by capturing the Supporters’ Shield, which is awarded to the team with the best regular-season record in MLS. In 2022, the team advanced to their first MLS Cup before losing to LAFC in a thrilling match.
