The team is in Houston to play the Houston Dynamo on Sunday night.

“We are aware of the charges filed against Miguel Aceval, Luis Silva, and Nick Soolsma in Houston,” Toronto said in a statement. “The players are presently with the team and we continue to investigate this matter. As such, the team will not provide any further comment at this time.”

The police have released a little more information on the matter.

“At about 2:45 (Monday) morning, at Club Escobar … there was a fight in the parking lot,” said Houston Police Department spokeswoman Jodi Silva, according to the Houston Chronicle. “And officers who were working an extra job there attempted to break it up.
