The Philadelphia Eagles do not have a head coach, but the team has already signed two players to new contracts. The team signed defensive end Everette Brown and corner back Trevard Lindley to two-year deals.

It is not known if the Eagles will keep these players once a new head coach is named. These appear to be depth signings.

Brown has played in 31 NFL games in his career, with just three starts. He played for the Carolina Panthers in 2009 and 2010, before moving on to the San Diego Chargers in 2011.

Brown sat out the 2012 season. In his career, he has 49 tackles with six sacks, three forced fumbles, and an interception.

He was a fourth-round draft pick by the Eagles in the 2010 NFL draft.
