This business venture follows his successful launch of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey. Proper No. Twelve has had record sales within multiple countries.

In addition, it is the most followed spirit brand in the world on social media @properwhiskey, according to the press release.

“I am very excited and proud to introduce Champ Champ Rosé™ to the world,” said McGregor.  “People who know me know I am a proper whiskey man through and through, but they also know I enjoy having a glass of rosé wine on a hot summer’s day.”

McGregor will reveal the wine at 2:30 pm EST on Monday from a live event in Miami, Florida. This will include a 60-second television ad that will also be posted on his Instagram account at @thenotoriousmma at 2:30 pm EST.

The social media account for this new wine is @champchamprose. There will also be a multi-million dollar and digital media campaign launching May 1.

“Working with one of the finest winemakers in the world who did a great job blending this sublime creation with me was important,” McGregor said. “I am very proud of the liquid itself and I look forward to tasting it soon with the excellent tasters of Robert Parker Wine Advocate and Marvin Shanken, who I understand is a wine & spirits guru.  I suspect they will rate my new Champ Champ Rosé a perfect 100.”

McGregor launched Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey in Oct. 2018 that his owned by Eire Born Spirits. Besides owning wine companies, he also is a co-owner of a fashion line.
