The Navy Midshipmen rolled over the UCONN Huskies on Friday night. The Midshipmen won 56-10 over the Huskies at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut.
This was the first meeting between the two teams in three years.

Navy has a 9-1 record in the all-time series, including Friday night’s win. The Midshipmen won the last three games in the series in 2006, 2015, and 2016.

Connecticut’s lone win in the series came in 2002. The Huskies won 38-0 over the Midshipmen on Nov. 16, 2002.
Midshipmen quarterback Malcolm Perry went 3 of 6 for 165 yards. He had one touchdown pass.
Perry led the backs with 11 carries for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Ryan Mitchell had one reception for 74 yards.
Huskies quarterback Jack Zergiotis went 16 of 34 for 205 yards. He had one touchdown pass and two interceptions.
Kevin Mensah led the backs with 26 carries for 107 yards. Cameron Hairston had one reception for 53 yards.
The Midshipmen outscored the Huskies 28-0 in the second half. Perry scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown.
Jamale Carothers scored on a 23-yard rushing touchdown. He also scored a six-yard rushing touchdown.
Perry Olsen also scored a one-yard rushing touchdown.
Navy led 28-10 at halftime. Perry scored on a 58-yard rushing touchdown. Carothers scored on a 13-yard rushing touchdown.
Nelson Smith scored a one-yard rushing touchdown. Perry hit Mychal Cooper for a 58-yard touchdown reception.

Huskies’ Zergiotis hit Art Thompkins for a 10-yard touchdown reception. Clayton Harris also made a 40-yard field goal.
